Hi there, Activity Planners!
I’m Kari, the Founder of Salt & Prep.
Activity professionals are some of the hardest-working, most compassionate people I know. Having been an Activity Director for well over a decade now, I understand the long hours, constant multi-tasking, and pressure to create meaningful experiences with limited resources.
I also saw how COVID shifted the landscape of senior programming. With less time in the office and more demand for activities, I realized there was a real need for ready-to-print resources.
Then I won the 2021 St. Cloud Times Change Maker Award! It gave me the push I needed to start SaltandPrep.com, and it means so much to me.
It’s my greatest privilege to help lighten the load for these hardworking and passionate professionals, giving them more time to do what they do best—brighten the lives of seniors.
When I’m not creating resources for Salt & Prep, I’m spending time with my husband and son, traveling, or hosting movie nights.
(Our family’s favorite tradition? Playing trivia games that I create for every holiday. Go figure.)
